As another year comes to a close, we thought we’d pause and reflect on the 2024 journey of G2 Speech. This year has been super exciting for us, and nothing short of transformative. From launching new products, upgrading others, and ultimately helping the healthcare industry manage workflows by cutting down medical reporting times.

SpeechCursor is a-go
At the start of the year, our SpeechCursor dev team got together to focus on the production release and the product roadmap. The team got the ball rolling and at the start of summer, SpeechCursor was rolled out to its first customer!
Powered by Atlas, SpeechCursor is our cloud-based solution that enables healthcare professionals to swiftly generate precise patient documents directly into any application, from anywhere, across multiple systems.
The development team have done an exceptional job on this project, and we look forward to seeing more of our customers benefit from this tool.

SpeechReport gets major upgrade
The Development and Product Management teams have been working hard to further improve SpeechReport with the newly released, AI-based Atlas engine. And it led to undoubtedly one of the most transformative moments in 2024 for us – launching our latest and greatest technology upgrade in over 25 years: SpeechReport 4.0.
Reducing administration work and times when it comes to medical reporting has been one of our biggest missions, so updating our SpeechReport tech with the introduction of AI technology has always been a main priority for us.
SpeechReport 4.0 is the latest version of our complete, end-to-end workflow management solution that uses AI-powered speech recognition to save healthcare teams days in medical reporting.
Peter Moors, Product Manager at G2 Speech said: “We’re extremely excited to launch SpeechReport 4.0 to new and existing customers – the biggest technology upgrade in 25 years. Welcoming new faces and celebrating familiar ones
Delivering exceptional products and service to our customers couldn’t be possible without the talented team behind us. We’re lucky to have some of the best (if we do say so ourselves!) people for the job, and we’re proud to have welcomed some new faces to our teams to help us provide unmatched speech recognition and AI solutions to the healthcare industry.
We’ve also had plenty of team building, training and development opportunities and social gatherings where we’ve brought the teams together throughout the year.

Our focus for 2025
As well as continually improving and adapting our speech recognition and workflow management solutions to meet healthcare demand and improve the user experience, the development team have been working on complementary, AI-based innovations to further support our customers on their AI-digital transformation journey.
We’re also continuing to work on intelligent ways to deliver text and speech enabling third party applications, and offering the best added value to our partners.
